Mulki, October 2, 2025: An evening filled with music, worship, and divine presence marked the Live Worship Evening held at Divine Call Centre, Mulki from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Organized under the serene ambience of the DCC campus, the event witnessed hundreds of faithful gather to lift their hearts in praise and thanksgiving, while thousands more joined through live online sessions.
The evening began with a prayer led by Fr. Abraham Dsouza, SVD, Director of the Divine Call Centre, who invoked God’s blessings on all the participants. Following the opening prayer, the atmosphere was transformed into a vibrant space of praise and worship led by the Revelations from Mangalore, known for their spirited performances and heartfelt music ministry.
Worship in Many Tongues
The worship session featured songs in English, Kannada, Konkani, and Hindi, beautifully uniting people across languages and cultures in one voice of worship.The vocal team comprised Dr. Suraj Noronha, Dealle Dsouza, Melissa Saldanha, Minola Saldanha, Marisha Saldanha, and Abigail Crasta, whose soulful singing stirred the hearts of the congregation. The musicians—Dolwin Kolalagiri, Joswin Dcunha, Jeevan Roshan Fernandes, and Milton Braggs—added energy and depth to every song, blending melody and rhythm into a moving experience of faith.
Message, Skit, and Testimony
After the uplifting session of music, Rev. Fr. Pius Dsouza from Shimoga delivered a powerful and inspiring message that touched upon the theme of living one’s faith with courage and hope. His words encouraged the young and old alike to trust in God’s plan and to be witnesses of His love in today’s world.
The message was followed by a short skit titled “The Lighthouse” presented by the Jesus Youth Campus Ministry of Mangalore, creatively depicting the importance of being a guiding light amidst life’s storms. A heartfelt testimony by Mr. Shohan added a personal touch, as he shared his journey of faith and transformation.
Moments of Grace and Adoration
One of the most moving segments of the evening was the time of Eucharistic Adoration. As the Blessed Sacrament was exposed, the youth were invited forward while the elders prayed over them, laying hands and interceding for God’s anointing. The hall was filled with tears, joy, and deep spiritual renewal as all experienced the gentle presence of God.
The event concluded with a joyful session of celebration songs and action numbers, where the entire congregation joined in singing, dancing, and rejoicing together in the Lord.
A Spirit-Filled Evening
The Worship Evening 2025 truly lived up to its purpose — to bring people closer to God through music and prayer. The blend of praise, message, testimony, and adoration made it a memorable and faith-enriching experience for all.
